Treats By Shilo LLC is dedicated to our late Alaskan Malamute, Shilo.

 

Shilo was an amazing dog, full of energy who loved everyone and loved her treats even more. It was her love of treats that led her to having weight issues because she never met a treat that she could turn down. After ACL repair surgeries on each of her back legs, her weight became an issue. After an extensive diet and limited treat consumption, she was eventually able to get down to a healthy weight but the damage had already been done. Years of carrying around extra weight made it hard for Shilo to get up and down comfortably or even move without being in pain. Keeping her medicated helped for a while until we were tired of seeing her suffer and had to make the hard choice of letting her go way sooner than we wanted.

After the loss of our beloved Shilo, the idea came to us that we should start making our own homemade, healthy all natural dog treats. No fillers. No preservatives. No garbage. Then, we decided we should start selling our treats to other dog owners. Giving them a much healtier option than the garbage that is sold in stores. Thus Treats By Shilo LLC was born.
